Easter has come and gone, leaving behind a few quiet days to recharge and spend time with the people who matter most.
Before that pause, something worth sharing had already taken place: our Charity Easter Markets. What began as a seasonal gesture during the Christmas holidays has quietly grown into something more deliberate. Our teams in Cluj and Timișoara organized Charity Easter Markets, two events rooted in the same idea: that a workplace can be a starting point for genuine community impact.
A tradition carried forward
In Cluj, colleagues arrived with homemade dishes and handmade items, turning a shared space into a lively marketplace where every purchase carried a second purpose.Alongside it, a donation area gradually took shape, with colleagues bringing clothes, toys, hygiene products, and non-perishable food.
Every item collected and every purchase made went toward supporting the social projects of Parohia Sfânta Treime, a local parish running programs that reach people who often fall outside the reach of institutional support.
Different places, shared purpose
In Timișoara, the initiative carried a more personal meaning. As they did last Christmas, the team chose to support the same local family.
The family is raising two children living with an incurable illness, while the parents simultaneously manage their own health challenges. Hospital visits are frequent, daily expenses are constant, and the emotional weight is ongoing. The funds raised through the market don’t entirely solve these realities, but they offer something steady in a journey that keeps asking more of this family.
The effort behind it
What made these events truly meaningful was the collective effort behind them. From those who prepared food or crafted items, to colleagues who helped organize everything, and to everyone who stopped by to contribute or simply be present, each person played a part.
These moments exist because people choose to show up, to contribute, and to support one another in ways that extend beyond the workday.
What stays with us
Now that Easter has passed, what remains goes beyond the outcome of a single event.
Community is built through consistent, chosen actions, and these markets are evidence of that. Small gestures, repeated with intention, grow into something lasting and with each season, this initiative continues to do exactly that.
