Seasons have a way of shaping not just our calendars, but our culture as well. For us, summer is more than warm weather. It’s the time when our team gathers outside the everyday rhythm of work to share experiences, celebrate milestones, and strengthen the bonds. This summer was no exception. From small traditions that brought us joy to bigger moments spent side by side, every experience added a new layer to our story as a team. And as we look back, some of the best memories come from the ways we found to celebrate together.
Summer Happy Fridays
Fridays felt like a small holiday of their own. We kicked things off with board game evenings and quiz nights, then turned our Happy Fridays into themed, relaxing evenings. Some of us didn’t choose Greece as a vacation destination, we brought it to the office, teasing all the good greek flavours. In another week, tacos took the spotlight, and yes, even the humble sandwich had its moment of fame. These gatherings weren’t just about food. They were about unwinding together, celebrating the week, and ending it on a high note.
Our Incredible Teambuilding
Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery to remind us why we work so well together. Our weekend at Tarnița Lake was one of those times. Between the fresh air, shared stories, and genuine laughter, the atmosphere was filled with good vibes. It was the kind of weekend people were still chatting about on Monday, a reminder that teamwork doesn’t just happen in the office, but also around campfires and lakeside sunsets.
Act Like It’s Yours
PowerPoint got a serious glow-up this summer! We launched into a playful experiment: spin the wheel, land on a random topic, and present it like it’s yours. From the secret lives of penguins to partying dinosaurs, no topic was too wild. The rule was simple: have fun and own the stage. The result? Non-stop laughter and maybe even uncovered some hidden stand-up talents among us.
Welcome Wagon
New faces deserve a warm welcome, and that’s exactly what we gave them. Our Welcome Waggon event turned into the perfect mix of fun and connection: board games, foosball, snacks, and terrace chats. What truly made the evening special was the way long-time teammates stepped in by sharing stories, breaking the ice, and making sure no one felt like a stranger for long.
First Aid, First Class
Our team in Iași recently traded happy hours for something just as valuable: a first aid class. From learning how to react when someone is choking (on food, not deadlines) to practising essential life-saving techniques. The session gave us more than just knowledge, it gave us confidence. Now we know that being ready to help isn’t about superpowers, it’s about preparation. Who knew becoming the office hero could start with a simple training session?
Final thoughts
As the leaves start to change, so do we. This summer showed us the power of connection, creativity, and care, now we’re ready to carry that energy forward. Autumn, after all, is a season of fresh starts.
