Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operations of our IT infrastructure, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in IT to gain hands-on experience and grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities within the team:

Provide first-level technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, network, and system-related issues;

Assist in setting up and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripherals for new employees;

Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and mobile device problems, including diagnosing hardware and software faults;

Install, update, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and security patches;

Assist in user accounts, security settings, and access controls;

Assist in maintaining inventory of IT equipment, including tracking assets and ensuring proper disposal of outdated equipment;

Collaborate with other IT team members to document technical procedures, guidelines, and knowledge base articles;

Participate in IT projects, such as software upgrades, system migrations, and hardware deployments;

Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and escalate to senior team members when necessary;

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT environment.
Job requirements
Facing the challenges of the role requires:

A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred;

Basic understanding of IT concepts, including hardware, software, networking, and operating systems;

Familiarity with MacOS, Microsoft Windows and various Office suites;

Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail;

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
